I'll be honest, I didn’t start in bookkeeping.

My background is in brand strategy. I spent over ten years helping founders and business owners refine their marketing through positioning, shaping their messaging, and building something visible and credible.

But behind the scenes, I often saw the same pattern.

Revenue was coming in, but no one could clearly explain margins. Expenses were tracked, but not really understood. Reports existed, but they weren't being used to make decisions. The business was fully capable, but because the financial picture wasn't clear enough to act on, opportunities were being missed.

That's what drew me toward bookkeeping. I became more interested in what was happening behind the scenes; how structure, consistency, and accurate reporting change the way a business operates.

Today, I work primarily with wellness and beauty business owners in Toronto — aestheticians, massage therapists, med spas, naturopaths, and salon owners — who want their books in order and their taxes filed without the stress or the confusion.

Most small business owners didn't start their business to deal with spreadsheets. That's where I come in.
