When Johann Bona of
Casa Bona invited me to shape the identity for his new venture, Howell Studios, I was instantly captivated by his vision: a creative haven both serene and expressive, built for nurturing community-driven artistry. Over the course of six weeks, I crafted a brand language that marries tranquility with creative momentum, using modular, refined, and welcoming elements so that every touchpoint invites visitors into a world where ideas and calm coexist.
This vision was further enriched through collaboration with the
Odami, an award-winning Toronto architectural firm known for crafting spaces that are immersive, contemporary, and deeply attuned to materiality. Their architectural vision informed the way the brand identity unfolded, ensuring the visual language felt as considered and intentional as the environment itself. Together, we established Howell Studios as a serene yet dynamic refuge, a place where community and creativity are nurtured in equal measure.
